Representative for international students

We (the general student council) are currently looking for a new representative for international students. There exist many different qualifications for this position, high on the list are motivation, connection with international students or programs or schools, and/or any foreign language ability (English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, etc. etc.).

General AStA (student council) work involves helping students with university related problems, organizing and helping AGs (student clubs), voting on issues at the weekly meeting, meeting students during your weekly office hour, and finding inter-representative objectives to collaborate on with other AStA members.

The representative for international students specifically tries to create communication between the programs for international students, works with the international office, and tries to make the general student population aware of the multitude of opportunities for international students as well as foreign programs offered here on the TU. Along with that, the representative usually organizes an International Day every year, where international AGs and programs have the opportunity to present themselves to the general student population, and demonstrate their varied cultures.
